Boost Your Immune System
/Currently, there is a virus that has spread across the globe. Seems as if healthier individuals are not taking as much heat as most. That seems to be the norm with most health issues in the world. The better a person takes care of themselves, the less chance there is for them to fall victim to illness. Who would have thought? It feels weird having to say that.
One of the dangers that comes with the virus is a thick mucus build up in the respiratory system that affects a person’s ability to breathe.
That information alone should give a person insight into what moves should be taken to help prevent being defeated by this thing. Defenses win championships, folks. I’m looking to hand you a handful of tools that could help prevent you from contracting, or at the least, recover well after contracting any type of illness.
#1 If you’re a smoker, you should stop doing that…like 10 years ago. No ones seems to care in the moment, but they damn sure do when death is knocking. Keep that in mind. Stop that. It’s not serving you in any capacity.
#2 If you’ve never done any type of breath work or cold water therapy, now is the time to start. Unbeknownst to many, you have the power to control your autonomic nervous system which your immune system is a part of. The effects of this work take hold within days with solid study.
This is part of my morning routine to maintain a healthy immune system.
#3 A strong cardiorespiratory system can and will go to work for you in times of need. The positive effects of cardio training set in fairly quick.
#4 There are a handful of very powerful mushrooms that carry antiviral and antibacterial properties. Some of them are Reishi mushrooms (The Mushroom of Immortality), Turkey Tail mushrooms, and Agarikon mushrooms. These guys, among a few others, are great for immune system support.

#5 A strong alkaline nutrition plan void of any inflammatory foods also helps to boost immunity. Tap water is full of everything you don’t want in your water so resort to spring and/or alkaline waters.
My buddy Tim of Zeal Living eats that real stuff.
#6 MOVE! And stay movin’! Like every other animal in the kingdom, we were meant to move, specifically locomote. We were designed to move from Point A to Point B to get to our fuel and to not become fuel. Stagnation in the wild equates to death. Unfortunately, our modern day conveniences have protected us too much and now we’ve found the couch. We weren’t meant for that.
“Your breath is the vehicle to your movement.”
- Gene Smithson
If I didn’t know these things and someone handed me this information, especially during a time like this, I would be completely foolish to not dive in head first. All of these recommendations can be implemented immediately and the positive effects happen almost as quick.
There really is no time to waste.
Be well,
Jason
